the secret is that it is supposed to look like an iris (: it's made of vanvas, coated in varnish, coated in several layers of white paint, then with a mixture of acrylic and fabric paint in purple and blue, aubergine spray paint, it was then masked, and spray painted with yellow, and then there is hand embroidering in yellow and silver. *exhausted* keeping in mind that by the time i got to the hand embroidery, it was pretty much completely solid from all the obsessive varnishing (: mmm...rigid clothing ftw. |
